Frequently Asked Questions
The following is a list of frequently asked questions regarding our business.  If you have
further questions, please
You contact Aerial Views by phone or e-mail and we will discuss your needs in further detail so that we know
exactly what you want to see and how you want to see it.  Once we have a good understanding of your
requirements, we will be able to provide you a quote of the aerial assignment.

Once you accept the quote, we will fly your aerial photo assignment on a clear and sunny day within 2 weeks.
If you need the photos sooner and a quicker turn-around, we can usually accommodate the request if the
weather cooperates.  We will do all that we can to ensure that you meet your deadline.  We will use a
combination of computer and aviation maps to find the site location and then fly direct to the location by way
of GPS (Global Positioning System) technology.

W
e will take numerous photos of your site at different elevations and angles.  We typically provide your
photos on a CD, however, upon request we can provide physical prints.
The majority of our work is conducted throughout the state of Arizona.  However, because we are conveniently
located in Northern Arizona, we are in a centralized location and able to provide service to areas in Colorado,
Utah, New Mexico, Nevada, and California.
What type of aircraft do you fly and equipment do you use?
Our business will customize the aerial photo assignment to meet your needs.  For most of our photo
assignments, we fly either a Cessna 172 or 182 four seat, single engine airplane.  These aircraft are widely
used and are stable platforms for aerial photography.  We can take your photos anywhere from 500 ft. to
10,000 ft. above the ground in order to capture those aspects most important to you.  If you need your photos
at a very low level (200 ft and below) and terrain avoidance becomes an issue, then we will discuss with you
the option of using a helicopter.
Aerial Views employs the latest in digital camera equipment to capture and ensure high quality aerial images.
We predominately use digital equipment of 6+ Megapixles.  Aerial Views has the capability of in-house printing
of your photo proofs.  Print sizes range from 8 x 10 to 24 x 3
2.  Our color prints are adjusted for color
saturation, sharpness, and contrast.  This enables us to control the quality of the print and give our clients a
quality product.
Under the Copyright laws of the United States, Aerial Views maintains ownership of all photos that we
generate.  However, to simplify things, Aerial Views gives customers written reproduction rights in order to use
their photos for marketing, advertising, websites, etc.  The underlying limitation in this is that you cannot
re-sale any photos that Aerial Views has produced.
Do you guarantee your work?
What is your turn-around time?
Luckily, we live in the Southwest, which usually translates into 350 clear sunny days.  This means that we can
usually schedule your flight and deliver proofs within 2 weeks from the time you request a flight.  It makes
sense for us to combine and group flights depending on where the location is.  If you have a more urgent
deadline, let us know, and we will work with you.
Do you do other types of photography?
Sorry, we don't do portrait or wedding photography.  Our specialty is aerial photography.  We have the
necessary skills, techniques, and equipment needed for this line of work.
How much does it cost?
Each aerial photography assignment is unique and based on a variety of factors such as location (flight time),
customer requirements, and intended use.  Our rates are competitive within the region.

How does it Work?
You are based in Northern Arizona.  How far can you fly?
Yes!  Our goal is to provide high quality aerial photography that satisfies your needs.  If you are not happy
with the final product, we will fly your assignment again at no additional cost.  On occasion, after a flight we
discover that we didn't get the clarity and resolution that we wanted.  The only option is to go back up and
take shots until we get what we're looking for.
